This Chardonnay displays beautifully with its light straw color sharing aromas of pear, white peach, honey, apple and vanilla combining with a touch of oak and baking spices. Flavors of refreshing citrus, lemon cream, pear, green apple and pastry crust complement vanilla and baking spices on the palate.

92 points, Antonio Galloni's Vinous (Jul. 2013): "... broad and creamy on the palate, with gorgeous depth and plenty of pure, resonant fruit. Aging in French oak adds warmth, richness and volume. Hints of white peach, pear and spice add lovely dimensions of complexity..."

91 points, Connoisseurs' Guide (Feb. 13): "Keenly focused on deep and defined, ripe-apple fruit and well-appointed with wholly complementary oak, this bottling shows good concentration and fine overall balance..."

90 points, Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar (Nov./Dec. 12): "...Fleshy and round, offering sappy melon and pit fruit flavors and a touch of candied ginger.  A supple, intensely fruity style of California chardonnay, with very good finishing lift and precision."

Food pairings: Enjoy with Poached Salmon, Meyer Lemon Risotto or Chicken Cordon Bleu.
