Grilled Pork Tenderloin with Plum Glaze

Grilled Pork Tenderloin with Plum Glaze

Prep Time: 20 Minutes

Cook Time: 30 Minutes

Yield: 4 servings

Pork tenderloin is great pairing to wine but there is something to be said about also pairing it with this plum glaze. This is an easy-to-follow recipe but will be sure to impress. Serve with potatoes, roasted garlic, grilled vegetables and the Bargetto 2010 La Vita red blend; one of this month's Signature Series award-winning reds!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Plum Preserves
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/8 cup honey
  • 1/8 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar (or other vinegar)
  • 2 tsp fresh celery leaves, minced
  • 1 small pork tenderloin per person

Combine all the ingredients except pork in a saucepan over low heat and stir until the sugar and preserves melt.

Prepare your grill.  Dip tenderloins in glaze and place on grill.  Grill for 10-15 minutes a side, brushing the meat with the glaze when you turn it.  Grill until the tenderloins reach an internal temperature of 155° F.

Slice and enjoy!

My odds of drinking a good wine from The California Wine Club are much better than investing in the stock market right now. A few glasses of wine during the day may make watching the stock market much more tolerable!

Just received my shipment. I've always noted how much I love the Uncorked. Now, probably even more since my wine drinking days are limited! Barry's on the golf course so I'm sitting back with my feet propped up reading! Yea!

I love to give gifts...the 14 people I have given to are so grateful...I get calls monthly from these people telling me how much they appreciate the thoughts and the great wine(s) they receive.
