This was one of the smoothest and best Merlots I have had. My friend and I took it on a picnic in the Appalachian Mountains, drank it along a beautiful river as we ate cold grilled chicken and cheese.   -20 Points

Ok, you guys have been blowing my mind with Merlots lately! This one was no exception. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE this wine. The moment that I opened this bottle and the wrafts of the wine's aroma hit my nose, I knew this was going to be good. Color-PERFECT!!! I don't think I've seen a more beautiful Merlot. Lush burgundy red perfection in a glass. The nose was reminiscent of a Cab or Bordeaux. Vanilla, oak and black cherry-all of my favorite scents in a wine. The taste was GREAT! If I hadn't read the label, I would have thought that i was drinking a Cab. After reading the notes I Uncorked, I can see why it reminded me of the Cab or Bordeaux. Finish was good. Very smooth, could have  been a bit stronger, but again, I would expect that from a heavy Cab, not a Merlot. I would rename this wine Masquerade, as it's a Merlot that masquerades as Cab. HAHA! One of THE BEST wines from the club, thus far!     -19 Points
