A gorgeous nose of red pear, candied lemon peel, and dulce de leche. The creamy mouth is layered with crème brulée and white peach, with the sweet vanilla and subtle nutmeg of high quality French oak extending long into the finish. Subtle oak-framing and well-balanced acidity gives the wine structure, elegance and versatility.

94 points, Connoisseurs’ Guide (Jan.13): "... ripe apple fruit played against leesy, roasted grain notes, hints of citrus and lots of very rich oak in its broad, expressive aromas. It is full on the palate, supple and on the mouth filling side without ever going too far in that direction..."

91 points, Wine Spectator (Dec. 31, 2012): "Pure, ripe and rich pear, fig, nectarine and peach flavors are intense and vibrant without being weighty, showing subtle nuances on the finish.

90 points, Wine Enthusiast (12/31/2012): "Made using grapes grown high in the Mayacamas Mountains, this is extremely concentrated in pineapple essence, peach custard and tropical fruit flavors."
