Peacock Family Vineyard
For Chris Peacock and his wife Betsy, the pursuit of The Great Bottle is most fitting as both have immersed themselves in art and wine for many years. Daughter Rebecca shares their love of wine and beauty. Rebecca joined her parents in 2013, bringing the second generation perspective with outreach to social media, wine tastings, networking and more.
The fabulous wines we featured:
2010 Spring Mountain District, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
- 92 points, The Wine Advocate Robert M. Parker, Jr.
- Bone-in rib-eye steaks or Osso Bucoo are both terrific pairings.
Tasting Notes: Find a special moment to fully enjoy your first sip of this memorable Cabernet. It is a parade of rich dark fruit, from the ripe cherry aromas on the nose to the long, luscious fruit flavors that flood your palate. Delicious!
2006 Spring Mountain District, Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
- The Peacock estate yields an average of 1.5 tons per acre.
- Cases Produced: 424
- Pair with any beef dish.
Tasting Notes: Dark fruit core, dried violets, hint of soy and allspice. Still full-bodied with firm tannins and structure. It is drinking beautifully right now and will continue to cellar very well.
