The color has evolved to a deep garnet. Predominant aromas start with cedar, sage and clove spice, dark fruits like cassis and black
cherry, and wet stones. On the palate, the wine is medium to full bodied, with a backbone of freshening acidity and a lingering core of
tannin that has no doubt helped the wine cellar, and suggests several more years ahead for the patient. Spicy dried fruit and cigar box flavors are round, and the wine finishes long and smooth.
