Ripe black cherry, lavender, leather and earth notes predominate in the nose. Bright cherry flavors are concentrated, with oak, vanilla and brown sugar nuances.

There are no awards or reviews to date, as Sierra del Mar was just inaugurated with its first release this month.

Final blend – 55% Zinfandel, 20% Syrah, 15% Mourvedre, 5% Petite Sirah and 5% Grenache.

This tasty red is a great pairing with hearty stews, grilled, heavily seasoned meats, lamb, venison and polenta.

Just 400 cases made. Drink now or hold up to 2018.
