Aged: 12 Years

This Cabernet Sauvignon presents with a brick red hue and delicate hints of the years spent in the bottle. The aromatics are rich with notes of cigar box, cedar and flavors displaying cool blackberry, briar, vanillin and toasted oak. The wine has soft tannins and finishes gracefully on the palate.

Critic’s Award, Critic’s Challenge, 2005

Wine Spectator: (December 2004): “Well-oaked, with mocha, vanilla and dill notes and firm, chewy tannins. The core herb, currant and plum flavors are a bit closed now, but overall it’s complex and concentrated, simply in need of short-term cellaring…”

This wine was recently featured in The California Wine Club's wine of the month club.
