The Garys' Vineyard produces Pinot Noir with rich blackberry and wild berry accents, with wonderful floral undertones. It is a wine of finesse and elegant silky tannins, with an ever so slight hint of spices, underlined by a pinch of white pepper.

92 points, Connoisseurs' Series (June 2008): "...this chunky, solidly fruited effort gets very good marks for its ripe-cherry focus and for its sense of substance and scale. Its more than ample fruit makes its drift to finishing heat but a minor distraction, and, given a couple of years in which to grow past its slight youthful toughness, it will both gain in complexity and find a welcome bit of refinement along the way.”

92 Points, Wine Enthusiast (May 2008): “This is one of the most balanced and delicious of Testarossa’s new 2006 Pinots…full-bodied appeal of a Santa Lucia Pinot, but maintains a certain delicacy and finesse.”

90 Points, Wine Spectator (June 2008): “…ripe plum, wild berry, anise, sage and mineral notes…a complex range of flavors…”
