The hallmarks of this Cabernet Sauvignon are its lovely, dense flavors of dark fruit, rich minerality and friendly tannins.

92 points, “The Wine Spectator Rates 2007” (November 15, 2010): “Well-crafted, dark, rich, intense, concentrated and well-structured, with a mix of loamy earth, mineral, graphite and dried currant flavors…”

90 points, Robert M. Parker, Jr., Wine Advocate (December 23, 2010): “An impressive 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon from the Atlas Peak area of Napa Valley, this dense ruby/purple wine has sweet tannin and a very floral nose intermixed with cassis and plum. Round, generous, seductive and opulent, this is a classic 2007-delicious, forward, and ideal for drinking over the next 10-15 years.”

As for holding this wine, it would be fun to see it change over 10 years, but it can be enjoyed now as well.  A mere 325 cases were made.

This wine was recently featured in The California Wine Club's wine of the month club.
