These wineries are often both small businesses and small farms, typically with a very small team putting in long hours to craft the best wines possible. They take personal pride in delivering their very best to our wine club members, and are grateful for your support.

Hesperian Wines in Napa Valley
Winemaker Philippe Langner, founder of Hesperian Wines in Napa Valley, suffered devastating losses in the October 2017 fires.
“My house, my office and all my vineyard equipment burned the first night of the October fire. I’m rebuilding but it’s added another load to my work as I do everything alone, with one vineyard worker.
In the fire I lost all my winemaking notes. It’s a real bummer as I lost all my winemaking history from when I started Hesperian in 2004.”
Founder/Winemaker Philippe Langner carefully crafts small batches of Napa Cabernet using
Bordeaux-style techniques.
Sadly, only 10% of his 2017 vintage had been harvested prior to the fire. His prior vintages, however, were safely warehoused away from the area. He expects to be back to full production in 2020.
Your membership in our club helps directly support small artisan winemakers, including Philippe, whose wines are handcrafted in such small quantities, they can’t get shelf space in stores.
We are proudly featuring Philippe’s 2010 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon in our Aged Cabernet Series wine club level. Philippe specializes in age-worthy Napa Cabernets, crafted using Bordeaux-style techniques.
