Robledo Family Winery
In 1968 at the young age of 16, Reynaldo Robledo, left his home state of Michoacan, Mexico to work the beautiful vineyards of Napa Valley. It was at the Christian Brothers Winery that Reynaldo met his first vineyard. His experience grew until he was eventually managing vineyards with hundreds of acres and many men. In 1996, Reynaldo formed his own vineyard managment business, Robledo Vineyard Managment, LLC. Together, the Robledo family opened the first winery established by a former Mexican migrant worker in October 2003.
The fabulous wines we featured:
2007 "El Rey" Red Hills, Lake County Cabernet Sauvignon
- 3 Gold and 2 Silver Medals
- 89 points, Wine Enthusiast
Tasting Notes: Covered in Gold Medals, this Cab holds nothing back as it envelops you in aromas of spice and currant. Rich flavors of currant, blackberry and cedar lure you further, until magically, your glass is empty. You’ll enjoy its silky, velvety finish – and of course, another glass.
2012 "The Seven Brothers" Los Carneros Chardonnay
- Gold Medal, 91 Points Press Democrat North Coast Wine Comp.
- Just 1,000 cases made
Tasting Notes: From the first whiff of orange blossom and jasmine, you’ll know summer is in this glass of Gold Medal-winning Chardonnay. Luxuriate in its lush, smooth mouthfeel. On the finish, crisp acidity promises a food friendly wine.
